Description
A shaft of sunlight outlines a barn cat. Stealth on four feet, she pauses on her way in to work. The fur bristles along her back when one of the horses shies and stomps his hooves. She turns her head, then with a scornful look, continues into the shadowy barn. Oh well, she thinks, another day, another mouse. Juror's Choice at the 2012 Sushwap Lake Festival of the Arts. (looks great framed with a white or light cream coloured mat and black or dark brown frame)

Amazing digital work Theresa. But watch out for that little mouse on the chair........

The lighting and processing create the perfect mood. The pose makes me wonder what has the cats attention.

I love this piece, the ears lit up by the open door as she turned her head is gorgeous! Barn cats were always welcome and treated well at my Aunt's farm, nothing like a good mouser, nothing like a cat! :)
Theresa Tahara replied:
Thank you. My last cat is gone now but they have always been in my life. '-)

I love this Theresa, especially the way you have captured a hunting cat in mid-stride. This is gorgeous!
