Description
The spiritual marvels of nature where nothing is permanent except change. There is exquisite beauty in the death of a fallen leaf, but death is not the end. It is the promise of new life. The new life will be ephemeral, and its beauty will be fragile.
(Taken on November 3rd, these leaves were a carpet of bright yellow covering the ground under an apricot tree. Upon changing the photograph to black and white, they reminded me of fallen soldiers whose souls continue to shine brightly in our memories and will never fade away.)

This is so gorgeous...makes me think of my grandfather...the last few years before he died...he would always say in Autumn when the leaves were falling..." I see them fall...but I don't know if I'll ever see them come back in the Spring"...I will never forget that...beautiful image Theresa! f/v!
