The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The peeling paint of this street mural makes for interesting textures. Photographed in the Commercial Drive area of Vancouver. A confluence of cultures makes Commercial Drive, or "The Drive," the place to go for an urban experience of the young and hip Vancouver crowd. Formerly known as "Little Italy," this diverse neighbourhood is home to students, writers, artists and other bohemians. Lots of different restaurants offering every kind of cuisine imaginable make this a great place to grab an authentic ethnic meal.
